We are working on an advertising network, TrafficStars, which logs over 7 billion events daily into a ClickHouse cluster of 3.6 petabytes, supported by 500+ servers located in data centers across Europe and the USA. Our network processes more than 800,000 requests per second during peak hours. Due to the growth of our IT department, we are opening a vacancy for a DevOps position.
Position Details:
The position includes relocation to Cyprus with your entire family, to the city of Limassol, and full official employment. Southern Europe, sun-sea-fruits, clean environment, safety, and a large Russian-speaking IT community.
- Develop and support IT infrastructure in a high-load geographically distributed project.
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of infrastructure and services.
- Set up pipelines for building, testing, and deployment.
- Automate processes.
- Manage ClickHouse, Kafka, and PostgreSQL clusters.
- Create and operate various environments from testing to production.
- Identify potential problems and participate in creating solutions to address them.
- Search, test, and implement new solutions to optimize current processes and improve the quality of services provided.
- Proficiency in Linux.
- Experience with Docker.
- Knowledge of Nginx.
- Experience with ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, Redis, Aerospike.
- Experience with message brokers such as Kafka.
- Proficiency with Git, GitLab, GitLab CI.
- Experience with Ansible.
- Familiarity with Prometheus.
- Experience with ELK/EFK stacks.
- Understanding of TCP/IP principles, network services (DHCP, DNS, IPSEC, VPN, SSH).
- Knowledge of any scripting programming language (we use Python/Golang).
- Required work experience: 3-6 years.
