OneTag: Get More from Every Visit

A website visit is more than a single impression. Visitors open pages, browse content, click, and continue interacting with your site – creating several opportunities to monetize along the way.

OneTag brings Popunder, Interstitial, Video Slider, and In-Page Push together in one flexible integration. Add a single script to your website, manage each format individually, and optimize the complete setup from your TrafficStars dashboard.

It is designed to help you improve your overall RPM while keeping implementation simple and giving you control over the user experience.

Four Formats. One Integration.

OneTag brings together:

  1. Popunder. Opens behind the active window or in a new tab after a user interaction, helping you monetize visitor clicks.
  2. Interstitial. Displays a full-screen ad between page views, creating another monetization opportunity during the session.
  3. Video Slider. Delivers video advertising in the corner of the screen without requiring an integrated video player.
  4. In-Page Push. Displays native-style notifications directly on the page without requiring visitors to subscribe.

Each format reaches users at a different moment. You can use them together or select the combination that best fits your website and audience.

Why Use OneTag?

1. Improve Your Overall RPM

With only one ad format, you may monetize just one moment of the user session. OneTag allows different formats to work at different stages – from page load to clicks and page views. This creates more monetizable events from the traffic you already have and can help increase your overall RPM.

By activating multiple formats, you also make more of your inventory available to different types of advertiser demand.

2. Replace Multiple Integrations with One Script

Adding more ad formats would normally mean installing and maintaining several separate scripts.

With OneTag, you create one integration and add one generated script to your website. You can then activate, pause, or adjust individual formats from your dashboard without replacing the main code.

This makes it easier to test new formats and expand your monetization setup without creating additional technical work.

3. Keep Individual Control of Every Format

Although OneTag uses a single script, each selected format is automatically created as a separate ad spot.

You can manage each one individually and adjust settings such as:

  • frequency and session limits;
  • triggers and delays;
  • desktop and mobile behaviour;
  • placement and display preferences;
  • browser, device, and page filters.

You decide which formats to use and how they should behave on your website.

4. Balance Revenue and User Experience

A stronger monetization setup should still match the way visitors interact with your website.

OneTag allows you to control when and how frequently each format appears. You can begin with the recommended settings, review the results, and gradually adjust the configuration based on your audience’s behaviour.

This gives you the flexibility to pursue higher revenue without losing control over the visitor experience.

5. Track and Optimize Every Format

Each selected format has its own statistics, allowing you to compare:

  • impressions;
  • clicks;
  • CTR;
  • CPM;
  • revenue.

You can see which formats perform best, how they contribute to your total RPM, and where additional optimization opportunities may exist.

This makes it easier to keep profitable formats active, adjust underperforming settings, and find the combination that works best for your traffic.

6. Build the Setup That Fits Your Website

There is no universal monetization setup that works for every publisher.

OneTag can be created for one or several websites, and you can also use multiple OneTags on the same website when different pages or sections require different configurations.

SubID and category parameters are supported, giving you additional flexibility for traffic analysis and content control.

We strongly recommend passing accurate content categories through the OneTag script. This helps TrafficStars match each impression with more relevant advertiser campaigns, increase competition for your traffic, and improve your earning potential and overall RPM.

Get Started in Three Steps

Step 1: Create Your OneTag

Choose OneTag in your TrafficStars publisher dashboard, enter a name, and select the website or websites where you want to use it.

Step 2: Select Your Formats

Activate Popunder, Interstitial, Video Slider, and In-Page Push.

We recommend starting with all four formats and using the default configuration, which is based on insights and best practices from our top-performing publisher partners.

Once OneTag is running, monitor its performance in your dashboard and adjust the settings to match your website, audience behaviour, monetization goals, and preferred user experience.

Step 3: Install the Script

Save your OneTag, copy the generated script, and add it to your website.

Once installed, you can manage the included formats, update their settings, and monitor performance directly from your dashboard.

Make Every Visit Work Smarter

OneTag gives you more ways to monetize your traffic while keeping the integration simple, flexible, and easy to manage.

One script. Four formats. More control, clearer insights, and greater earning potential from every visit.
