How to Test S2S Postback Integration
This guide walks you through how to set up and test S2S postbacks in your campaign setup. Basic understanding of URLs and macros is helpful, but the interface is designed to be user-friendly even for non-technical users.
What is S2S Postback?
S2S (Server-to-Server) Postback is a secure and reliable method of tracking conversions without relying on cookies. S2S postbacks allow advertisers and affiliate platforms to send conversion data directly from their servers to the ad network’s server. Unlike client-side tracking (pixels or scripts), this method doesn’t rely on the user’s browser and is more accurate.
In our system, tracking tools are divided into three core components:
- Goals (Conversion Types): You define what action qualifies as a conversion (e.g., registration, purchase, install).
- Postback: This is the server URL to which the conversion data will be sent.
- S2S Integration Page: This section allows you to test and verify that the S2S postback setup is working correctly.

You can access the S2S test page either:
- Directly via the Tracking Tools section,
- Or from Step 3 of the campaign creation page. (Note: The S2S test button only appears if the offer link contains the click_id macro.)

🔧 How to Test Your S2S Postback
- Set up Postback on your affiliate/ tracking platform;
- Paste your offer URL with {click_id} token;
- Follow the link and do the target action as if you were a user OR go to your affiliate platform or offer source and use their S2S test tool to send a test conversion using the copied postback URL;
- Click on Check Status button to get information about your conversion. You can resend the postback; to display new information, click Update.
This simulates a real conversion and lets you verify whether your postback is working correctly, Status should be OK:

To start a new test, you need to click the Regenerate button. This will delete the data from the previous test and open a page with the active first step.
❓ What happens if my postback doesn't fire?
Double-check that:
- The offer link contains the click_id macro.
- The postback URL is formatted correctly.
- The partner platform is actually sending the test request.
